With our busy lives, it is often hard to schedule veterinary appointments for our pets. On top of that, available appointments are often weeks out. We are quite aware of the difficulty of managing time and want to do all we can to minimize that hassle.

At Dowagiac Animal Hospital, we see patients on a walk-in basis, much like a human urgent care facility. So if your pet is not well or is injured, he or she can be seen that same day.

Of course, if your pet needs vaccines or other preventative care, you can bring them in without an appointment.

We provide care for minor urgent health concerns during our regular walk-in hours. For complex emergencies or traumatic injuries, we refer our clients to trusted emergency centers that are fully equipped to handle those situations. This ensures your pet receives the highest standard of care, with the specialized staff and equipment necessary for critical cases—especially outside of normal hours.
